On Monday, November 11, students and staff at our school and across the city will mark Remembrance Day with classroom activities and school assemblies. During Remembrance Day, our teachers make connections between global events and students’ lives by promoting peace within our school community. On this solemn occasion, our staff, students, parents, and the wider community all join together in a call for peace.
Parents are invited to join us for the Remembrance Day Ceremony on November 11th at 10:30am in the gymnasium. Students will be provided with poppies for our Remembrance Day Ceremony. Small donation envelopes will be sent home with each child. Please consider making a donation to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund.
