As always, Bedford’s athletic programs dive into action as soon as the year begins and this year is no different. Some of the changes this year include Soccer which is being moved to the Fall schedule. This means both girls and boys soccer teams for grades 5 to 8 will be playing in the Fall, with try-outs beginning in early September.
Also, cross country gets underway shortly, so students interested in coming out for the team should be ready for early morning practice times in Wanless Park (times will be posted in the Bedford Blues and on the website). Students from grades 2-8 are welcome, especially those in the younger grades who are new to cross country. It’s a great way to get, meet new friends and work off those lazy days of summer!
Finally, girls and boys touch football gets underway almost immediately with try-outs beginning in early September. Students in grades 5 to 8 are welcome. Good luck Bedford!
