What’s Happening in the Bedford Library
On November 8, Sue Williams from the Locke Library will be here speaking to the grade four children about their Saturday program at Locke. Bedford students should find this to be a great way to spend some of the cold Saturday mornings that await us in the coming months!
On November 22, the Bedford Library will be “weeded” by a team from the TDSB. Weeding a library means that the team will be looking at basically each book and discarding those that have a printing date of more than 10 years. This will ensure that our library at Bedford will be as up to date as possible.
The BOOK FAIR we had the last week of September had sales exceeding $6,000.00 which is quite substantial compared to the vast majority of schools in the TDSB. Of this amount Bedford will have a credit of a little more than $3500.00 to spend on books and supplies from Scholastic.
