The Bedford Park Parent Council would like to extend a warm welcome to all as we embark on another wonderful year at Bedford!
Parent Council is already working hard to ensure that this year proves successful in helping to fund activities and resources that enhance and enrich the educational experience that our children enjoy at this great school.
For this reason, we are asking you to make a contribution to enrich your child(ren)’s learning experience at Bedford Park. This contribution is intended to replace smaller fundraising initiatives like; class baskets, door-to-door ticket selling, etc. However, it is not intended to replace our other fabulous fundraisers like Community Night, Pizza Lunch and the Grade 8 Graduation; nor does it negate charitable requests, or other occasional fundraising activities from the school.
The money raised in the past has been applied to many important enrichment activities and materials including:
- visual & performing arts
- field trips
- laptops, iPads, smartboards and projectors
- caterpillar to butterfly observation
- themed assemblies
- hatching of chicks
- scientist in the school
So please consider contributing via Cash Online (up to $250.00) or via cheque; cheques should be made payable to Bedford Park Parents Association and returned together with the form in the link below to your child(ren)’s teacher. Cash Online will be ready for Friday November 9th, you should receive email notifications when items are ready, also please note that this contribution is not managed via the “Make a Donation” button.
We are very fortunate to have such a strong parent community and we invite & encourage you to get involved or just come out and observe! There are so many ways – big & small – so please join us at our next Parent Council meeting on Tuesday November 20th, 2018 at 6:30 pm in the library. (FREE Babysitting is provided.)
